I like Czech opera more and more every day and Dalibor is one of my favourites in that repertoire. Based on a legendary character of Czech culture, it is a kind of Czech Fidelio: here too the protagonist disguises herself as a man to try to save the hero. Of all the versions directed by Krombholc , the second in stereo of 1967 is the most achieved in my opinion. The leading couple Pribyl-Kniplova is simply extraordinary. The great work of Blachut should also be highlighted from the 1950 version.
The entire booklet is on the 1967 recording and discs from 1977 version and not originals, I edited them because they come from a Public Library and there was a lot of markings and stickers on them.
