Another Everest reissue from Countdown Media. This is also another disc that I purchased when first issued in the UK as a World Record Club LP in the early 1960s. It remains one of my favourite recordings of the Dance Suite with excellent recorded sound.

There are very few Ferenccsik recordings made outside of Hungary and these are his only ones for Everest. Unfortunately, he was persuaded to use an English translation of Psalmus Hungaricus which does rob the work of some of its pith. Great to have, never-the-less, with excellent singing from tenor Raymond Nilsson and the choir.
