Here's another of the Regis/Alto recyclings of recordings originally made for IMP/Carlton Classics. Flott was in her prime at the time of this recording and this is one of the finest performances of popular Schubert lieder on disc. Her breath control and tone is always sublime and they are here allied to sensitive phrasing and awareness of style from both Dame Felicity and Schubert-specialist, Graham Johnson.
