Most pieces on this remarkable disc radiate an aura of refined melancholy. This recording was a revelation for me, as having listened to and played the JS Bach pieces a few hundred times I hadn't heard about J.F.N. Seger at all. Now I'm convinced that every organ music afficionado should acquaint him- or herself with his work :-)
