These splendid performances remain available, of course, in a different remastering for the Chandos label. But I do think that the sound is superior in Chesky's remastering.

Plus it is also nice to have this excellent performance of The Isle of the Dead and the MacDowell concerto.

Disc Two was earlier issued by Chesky in 1986 as CD2A.
