The claim with this recording of the first symphony that it is a 'World Premiere' recording seems a bit thin compared with the first two in this post. Maybe premiere commercial recording, perhaps? But it is good to see that the Ruth Gipps symphony hasn't been divided into the 11 tracks of the original issue.
