The three works here combine scoring typical for Zelenka's early works (the brass!) with the gravitas of the last works like the four masses ZWV 18-21. Notice the motive for 'solvet saeclum (...)' ; I hope it will ring some bells. Also, the recent recording of Psalmi Vespertini I (for Nibiru) features a differently scored version of De Profundis than the one here.
