DutchPublisher kindly provided volume 1 of Moura Lympany's  Best Loved Piano Classics on MIMIC in early 2016 and I recently discovered this volume 2 lurking at the back of my CD shelves - along with the other two CDs posted here. His volume 1 was a European Laser release and this volume 2 is on the equivalent American Seraphim label.

The booklets for these EMI releases are characteristically skimpy with no discographic information provided. Unusually for BIS, and not up to their usual high production standards, their digital booklet omits a page of the English notes - the French and German texts appear to be complete. As my CD is an SKC Korea pressing made for the East Asia market, I can't say whether or not the booklet accompanying the physical disc is complete. Fortunately, the SKC issue's booklet does have the complete English text - so I have included a scan of that as well.

The Lympany and Pontinen discs contained all new recordings made in 1991and 1984 respectively but the Ogden & Adni disc is made up from a selection of earlier recording originally issued on various different LPs. All three mostly contain the usual selection of popular classics and only Pontinen introduces some unusual repertoire. The only duplications on the three discs appear to be Clair de lune and Wedding Day at Troldhaugen.
