I like to honor his early strive to use period instruments, together with his wife Vera Beths and colleagues Frans Brüggen and Gustav Leonhardt. He played together with numerous ensembles, like Collegium Aureum, Tafelmusik and others. I once visited a concert, in which he played all the Bach suites; an unforgettable experience!
